Our Sponsorship program is designed to help the children improve one aspect of their life through regular donations from their benefactors. The donations will be translated into nutrition, education material, clothing, lodging support etc. You can sponsor a child through a monthly or a yearly donation.
If you wish to become a sponsor of CBS, you can select from two different options:
1. The Direct Sponsorship –This will allow you to sponsor one girl of the orphanage through a monthly donation of BDT 4,000. The money will then be used to provide for the individuals dietary (food and water), academic (books), clothing and other basic needs. You can track your donation by corresponding with the orphan herself or by communicating with the teachers and even come visit the orphanage to see where your donation is being used.
2. The Indirect Sponsorship –This will allow you to sponsor more than one person and allow you to choose what you wish your donation to be used for.
We have a list of categories below for those who wish to make any specific donations:
- Water and Sanitation Fund: Your monthly donation will be used mainly to provide clean and filtered water for the girls.
- Clothing and Shelter: Your monthly donation will be used to provide uniforms for the girls and for blankets, bed sheets, etc.
- Education and academic material: Your monthly donation will be used to provide the girls with school material such as books, calculators, notepads, pencils, etc. or other tools which will allow them to generate in income such as a sewing machine, knitting kit, etc.
In this category, you can even choose to fund higher education for one of our girls.
- Medical Care: Here your monthly donation will be used to pay for doctor’s fee in case a girl is sick and to provide them with basic medications for flu, fever, etc.
- Livestock and Farming: Selecting this category will allow you to donate a goat, chicken, sheep or duck to our orphans. This will then enable them to learn how to farm and produce other commodities.
